Job summary

Vogel Bros. Building Co. is seeking a Pipelayer Laborer to support water and wastewater infrastructure projects across Florida. You will perform semi-skilled and manual labor, install pipes and fittings, and help maintain safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of standard practices, methods, materials and tools of the trade.
• Knowledge of materials, tools and equipment used in the trade.
• Knowledge of safety precautions for the trade.
• Knowledge of and previous experience with pipe laying work.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Dig, spread and level dirt, gravel, concrete and other materials.
• Lift, carry and hold building materials, tools and supplies.
• Assemble, install and repair underground pipes and fittings.
• Test pipes for leakage and ensure proper joints and fittings.
• Direct equipment operators with hand signals and ensure safe operations.
