Job summary

TCAT Athens is seeking a full-time Associate Instructor for Pipefitting & Plumbing Technology to be located at the Main Campus in Athens, TN. The position requires a minimum of 37.5 hours per week and offers a salary range of $56,263 - $67,517.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, vocational/technical training or apprenticeship, and licensure requirements with the ability to obtain within 12 months. Teaching experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or Equivalent; vocational/technical training or apprenticeship preferred.
• Minimum three years of relevant work experience in the field to be taught.
• Must possess licensures/certifications for the field or be able to obtain within 12 months.
• Teaching experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate classroom instruction: evaluate progress, assign grades, provide academic assistance, maintain records, advise students.
• Develop course materials; revise curricula; maintain syllabi.
• Remain current in instructional methodologies and technologies; attend professional development.
• Support students with job placement and participate in recruitment and orientation.
• Collaborate with college personnel and industry partners; participate in accreditation processes.
