BRAZOSPORT COLLEGE is seeking a part-time Adjunct Pipefitting Instructor. Responsibilities include teaching Pipefitting classes while reporting to the Division Chair of Mechanical and Construction Technologies. The position is flexible, contingent upon the College's needs.

A Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Commercial Pipefitting or an Associate's degree with relevant experience is required. Candidates should have strong communication skills and an interest in alternative teaching methods.

Job Summary / Basic Function

Adjunct Instructors are hired in a part-time capacity on an as needed basis. These positions are filled prior to or during each semester and are contingent upon the needs of the College.

Job Duties

• Reports to the Division Chair of Mechanical and Construction Technologies
• Teaches Pipefitting classes using traditional and alternative delivery methods

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• This position requires either a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Commercial Pipefitting from a regionally accredited college or university or an Associate’s degree in Industrial and Commercial Pipefitting and a minimum of three years of non‑teaching wage earning experience in the occupational field.
• Interest in alternative instructional delivery methods
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
