Job summary

You will work with various piping materials, read drawings, perform troubleshooting and preventive maintenance, and collaborate across maintenance teams to keep operations running smoothly in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets pipe and machine drawings.
• Ability to troubleshoot processes and equipment.
• Maintains safety and good attendance.
• Knowledge of piping codes for hazardous environments.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, install and improve chemical processing equipment and building services.
• Work with multiple piping materials (stainless steel, steel, glass-lined, plastic, copper, etc.).
• Troubleshoot equipment; perform root cause analysis.
• Maintain steam traps, valves, filtration systems, steam ejectors and other equipment.
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Utilize maintenance software and MS Office tools.
• Adapt to changing priorities and work with other trades.
• Work indoors and outdoors; climb stairs as needed.
