Description

This role involves laying out, assembling, installing, and maintaining pipe systems, supports, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for various industrial systems. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities

• Cut, thread, and assemble pipes using appropriate tools.
• Attach pipes to structures and fixtures securely.
• Measure and mark pipes for precise cutting and threading.
• Plan and execute pipe system layouts and repairs.
• Select appropriate pipe sizes and related materials.
• Maintain and modify pipe systems and related equipment.
• Install automatic controls for pipe regulation.
• Operate valves and replace worn components.
• Inspect work sites for safety and structural integrity.
• Operate pumps for water removal in flooded areas.
• Apply protective coatings to nonferrous piping materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

3-5 years of Journeyman-level experience.
