Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in refinery maintenance/turnaround/construction environments.
• General knowledge of basic hand tools.
• Must pass Pipefitter Helper Skills Test at or above 70% or hold NCCER certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist fitters/welders with layouts, installations, maintenance and repair of piping systems.
• Interpret drawings and prints; plan procedures; select materials per engineering standards.
• Set up and operate bending, threading, and cutting equipment; shape and fabricate pipe.
• Test and inspect piping, install or replace components for air, water, steam, oils, gases and caustics.
• Ensure safety hazards are identified and mitigated; maintain clean, organized work area.
