Job summary

Matrix Service Company seeks experienced pipefitter personnel to lay out, install, maintain and repair piping systems for refinery maintenance, turnaround and new construction. Candidates should interpret drawings, perform fabrication, and ensure safe, compliant operations.

Required are 4+ years in relevant fields, ability to pass a 70% Pipefitter Skills Test or NCCER certification, and TWIC card; drug testing and site-specific trainings must be completed.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years or more in refinery maintenance/turnaround/construction experience.
• General knowledge of basic hand tools.
• Must pass Pipefitter Skills Test at or above 70% or NCCER certification.
• Experience with high- or low-pressure piping, tubing, fittings, and related components.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings & P&IDs.
• Complete Matrix Service Safety training and site-specific trainings.
• Must obtain/maintain active status in drug testing program.
• TWIC card required.

Responsibilities

• Lays out, installs, maintains, and repairs piping systems for maintenance and construction.
• Reads and interprets drawings and prints; plans procedures and selects materials.
• Cuts, bends, and fabricates pipe; uses pipefitters' tools and torches.
• Tests and inspects piping installations and repairs; ensures safety standards.
• Works at heights and in varying environments; adheres to PPE requirements.
