Pipefitter (Deer Park, TX) - Austin Industrial (Pemex)

Join us for the Pipefitter (Deer Park, TX) - Austin Industrial (Pemex) role at Austin Bridge & Road.

This position involves laying out, assembling, installing, and maintaining pipe systems, supports, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for various industrial systems. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities

• Cut, thread, and bend pipe using appropriate tools.
• Attach pipes to structures and fixtures with brackets, clamps, or welding.
• Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading.
• Plan and execute pipe system layout and repairs.
• Select appropriate pipe sizes and related materials.
• Maintain and modify pipe systems and equipment, following specifications.
• Install automatic controls for pipe systems.
• Operate valves to control flow of gases or liquids.
• Replace worn components and inspect work sites.
• Operate pumps to remove water from flooded areas.
• Apply coatings to nonferrous piping to prevent erosion.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
