Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking a skilled pipefitter/welder to lay out, assemble, install, or maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic or pneumatic equipment in accordance with plans and codes.

Candidate will read isometrics, measure, fabricate, align, bolt, clamp, weld and test piping while following safety rules and project specifications. This role requires working outdoors in variable weather, climbing and entering confined spaces, and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with field experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written and oral instructions.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools for layout and installation.

Responsibilities

• Read isometric drawings, take measurements, fabricate and install piping efficiently.
• Align, bolt, and clamp components for welding.
• Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings per specs by welding and threading.
• Position materials during installation and follow plans and specs.
• Hydro test piping systems.
