Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company seeks qualified personnel to plan, lay-out, install, test and repair piping systems across industrial sites. You will read isometrics, fabricate components, and weld joints while aligning and securing equipment per project specs.

The role requires working on construction sites, managing multiple tasks, and adhering to safety rules. You’ll routinely interpret plans and use layout tools to meet stringent specifications.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent with prior piping field experience.
• Strong ability to read and interpret plans and drawings.
• Proficient in safe use of electrical and hand tools, and layout tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lay-out, install, test and repair piping systems per plans and codes.
• Maintain knowledge of butt welded, socket welded, threaded, Victaulic, grooved, glued and fused joints.
• Read isometrics, take measurements, fabricate and install piping efficiently.
• Align, bolt and clamp components for welding; assemble pipes and fittings.
• Position materials, install equipment, vessels, pumps and supports.
• Inspect work for contract compliance and correct deficiencies.
