TIC – The Industrial Company is seeking an experienced pipefitter to lay out, assemble, install, or maintain pipe systems and related equipment in Abilene, Texas. You will read isometric drawings, measure, fabricate, weld, and install piping per plans and standards.

The role requires climbing, working at heights, outdoor conditions, and overtime as needed. Strong teamwork, tool proficiency, and safety compliance are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must read isometric drawings and follow written plans.
• Experience fabricating and installing piping per specs.
• Ability to understand and follow safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Read isometric drawings, take measurements, fabricate and install piping.
• Align, bolt and clamp components for welding.
• Assemble and secure pipes, fittings, and equipment by welding and threading.
• Position materials during installation and follow project specifications.
• Identify metal thickness and material types.
• Operate hand and power tools safely.
• Layout and install equipment, vessels, skids, pumps, pipe, and supports.
• Hydro test piping systems.
