Job summary

Jennings Mechanical is seeking an Experienced Pipefitter for commercial and industrial projects in the Charleston, SC area. You will layout, assemble, install, and maintain piping systems across diverse environments, collaborating with skilled trades to deliver on-time results.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Pipefitter in commercial/industrial environments.
• Ability to install steel, copper, PVC, and cast iron piping.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and piping layouts.
• Familiarity with rigging, threading machines, grooving tools, and other equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, thread, groove, and bend pipes to exact specifications using hand and power tools.
• Install and assemble pipe systems, supports, valves, and related hydraulic/pneumatic/steam systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, isometrics, and technical specs.
• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot piping systems for leaks and performance.
• Collaborate with welders, plumbers, and other trades to meet project goals.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company policies.
