Job summary

Jennings Mechanical seeks a skilled Project Manager to oversee commercial mechanical construction projects in Charleston, SC. You will partner with the Project Superintendent to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget, while maintaining Jennings Mechanical standards.

Responsibilities include project startup, procurement, financial management, scheduling, quality control, and client relations. Travel to active sites is expected; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Construction Management or related degree preferred.
• 5+ years of commercial mechanical construction experience.
• 3+ years managing commercial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, piping, and sheet metal systems.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, contracts, and schedules.
• Strong financial, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall planning, financial performance, procurement, and delivery of mechanical construction projects.
• Coordinate with Superintendent to ensure safety, schedule, and budget adherence.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, cost reports, and change orders.
• Oversee procurement activities, subcontracts, and long‑lead equipment.
• Ensure quality through reviews of drawings, submittals, and inspections.
• Maintain strong client and vendor relationships and attend project meetings.
