Comfort Systems USA Mid South is seeking a highly motivated Pipefitter Apprentice II to support our commercial HVAC and piping operations. This role suits an apprentice with foundational pipefitting experience aiming to grow under seasoned foremen in field and shop settings.

The position offers a strong advancement pathway to Pipefitter Apprentice III and Journeyman roles, with emphasis on safety, quality, and on-the-job learning in commercial construction projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years pipefitting or related HVAC trade in commercial construction.
• Basic understanding of commercial HVAC and piping systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and measurements.
• Basic welding knowledge or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior pipefitters with installation, modification, and repair of piping systems.
• Install piping materials under supervision per codes and standards.
• Read and interpret basic blueprints and piping schematics.
• Perform basic pipe welding and fit-up tasks as assigned.
• Safely operate hand and power tools used in pipefitting.
