Job summary

Trident Refit Facility in Bangor is hiring during the Federal Civilian Hiring Event. Join us at Newlife Event Center in Silverdale, WA on September 25–26, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. On-site positions in Silverdale include full benefits and competitive hourly wages for pipefitting roles.

Pipefitters interpret ship plans, install and repair piping, ensure proper slope and elevation, and coordinate with maintenance teams. Sign-on bonuses up to $5,000 are available for eligible candidates.

Trident Refit Facility, Bangor is Hiring! Come join us on Friday September 25th and Saturday September 26th 2026 at Newlife Event Center at 9923 Poplars Ave in Silverdale, WA 98383 from 10AM - 3PM.

PIPEFITTER: $24.85 - $45.79 PER HOUR

• Interprets ship plans, blueprints, and sketches to plan and lay out submarine piping systems, including routing, placement, slope, elevation, and equipment operation.
• Installs, modifies, and repairs piping systems by routing and cutting openings; installing pipe hangers; ensuring correct slope and elevation; preparing P-1 and P-2 weld joints; and using basic pipe layout and bending techniques. Performs equipment removal, repair, calibration, testing, and installation, including Trident Barton tank-level indicators.
• Identifies and removes piping conflicts or obstructions aboard submarines to support other maintenance and installation teams.
