Job summary

Trident Refit Facility in Bangor is hiring for a Non-Destructive Test Inspector. Positions are on-site in Silverdale, WA 98383, and the event runs Friday September 25th and Saturday September 26th, 2026, from 10AM to 3PM at Newlife Event Center.

• Applies skill and knowledge of VT, MT, PT procedures to prepare surfaces/items for testing.

NON-DESTRUCTIVE TEST INSPECTOR - $27.06 - $41.94 PER HOUR

• Testing items aboard submarines such as pressure hulls, main steam piping systems, various castings, welding qualification test samples, lifting equipment, submarine steering and diving components, etc.
• Assist qualified NDT examiners in the performance of the same or more complex nondestructive test methods.

Applies skill and knowledge of Visual Testing (VT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) and Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT) procedures to prepare surfaces/items for testing, arrange or position items as necessary, set up and execute the test, and interpret and record the results.
