Job summary

Aerotek is seeking Commercial Plumbers and Pipefitters for multiple projects in the Baltimore area, including ground-up and fit-out work. Based in Elkridge, MD, this contract-to-hire role offers weekly pay and benefits during the assignment, with the potential to transition to permanent employment.

Responsibilities include installing and fitting piping systems, welding/brazing, underground and overhead rough-ins, and reading blueprints. Tools, PPE, and transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Must have tools, PPE, and transportation.
• Commercial plumbing and pipefitting experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.

Job Description

Seeking Commercial Plumbers and Pipefitters for multiple different projects and sub-contractors in the Baltimore area. Projects include both ground up and fit out work. We partner with multiple mechanical sub-contractors who are completing projects and need reliable Plumbers/Fitters for projects. We offer weekly paychecks and benefits during your time on contract with Aerotek, while also having the opportunity to go permanent.

Must have tools, PPE, and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Install, fit, and assemble piping systems for a medical center build-out in accordance with project specifications and blueprints.
• Perform pipe welding and brazing on copper and other piping materials to ensure secure and reliable joints.
• Underground plumbing install and overhead rough in.
• Retrofit and rebuild existing pipe systems as part of a larger construction and renovation project.
• Interpret and work from construction blueprints, drawings, and layout plans for piping installations.
• Install and support medical gas piping systems under supervision or in collaboration with experienced personnel, where applicable.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elkridge, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
