You will ensure accurate labeling, staging, and neat packaging while guiding a hands-on team on pallet organization and safety. The role requires 4+ years in warehouse or forklift experience, a High School diploma or GED, and forklift certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years of warehouse or forklift experience preferred.
• Previous lead or supervisor experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team of Pipe Yard Associates and supervise shipping readiness.
• Verify quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing of products for shipment.
• Load trucks and receive product as needed.
• Staging and preparing orders for shipment with neat packaging.
• Audit packed items against customer orders and data.
• Cross-train team members from other departments.
• Complete shipping paperwork promptly and communicate shortages.
• Organize pallets and ensure safe material handling.
• Operate forklift (inside and outside) as needed.
• Pass drug test and background check prior to starting.
• This is a first shift onsite job in Birmingham, AL.
