Ferguson is seeking a Pipe Yard Associate for our brand new semi-automatic fabrication shop in Tamarac, FL. The role focuses on pipe yard operations, order picking, and yard organization with forklift use and outdoor duties.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience required.
• Background in warehouse operations incl. shipping/receiving/delivery/inventory preferred.
• Basic math skills required.
• Outdoor work; exposed to weather conditions and temperatures.
• Carrying objects up to 50 lbs by hand; some tasks with equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy motorized material handling equipment safely.
• Accurately pick products ordered.
• Coordinate removal/replacement of worn components.
• Cycle count, inspect orders, unload trucks with forklift.
• Put items away and receive them in system.
• Organize and reconfigure the yard.
• Operate equipment per OSHA and Ferguson SOPs.
• Assist shop and yard operations as needed.
