Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. is hiring a Pipe Yard Associate for the brand new semi-automatic fabrication shop in Tamarac, FL. The role supports a busy yard with heavy equipment, inventory, and order fulfillment, operating Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities include safe operation of material handling equipment, accurate picking, cycle counting, and yard organization. Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check; forklift experience is required.

Qualifications

• Forklift Operator experience required.
• Background in warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory preferred.
• Basic product knowledge of carbon steel pipe and pipe fittings preferred.
• Strong mechanical proficiency and basic math skills.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy motorized material handling equipment safely.
• Accurately pick products ordered.
• Coordinate removal and replacement of worn components.
• Accurately cycle count, inspect orders, and unload trucks with forklift.
• Put items away and receive them in the system.
• Coordinate organization and reconfiguration of the yard.
• Operate equipment per OSHA guidelines and Ferguson procedures.
• Assist in all shop and pipe yard operations as needed.
