Job summary

Ferguson is hiring a Warehouse Pipe Yard Associate in Phoenix, AZ. Schedule: Monday–Friday 5:00am–1:30pm. You will pull, wrap, sort, and ship orders, operate a stand‑up forklift, and use RF devices to prepare outgoing customer orders.

Responsibilities include receiving and stocking materials, maintaining a clean safe workspace, and complying with PPE and safety rules. Prior warehouse experience and forklift skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management.
• Forklift operator experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in pipe yard in all weather conditions.
• Prior industry (fire protection, plumbing, or other trades) is a plus.
• Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs regularly.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a stand‑up forklift (order selector/cherry picker) to pull and prepare outbound customer orders.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
• Use RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
• Accurately and timely receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material.
• Clean the workspace and participate with the team in keeping our facility clean, safe, and accident free.
• Adhere to all safety regulations, including PPE, with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.
