Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Pipe Yard Associate in Tamarac, FL to support our brand-new semi-automatic fabrication shop. You will operate heavy equipment safely, accurately pick products, and help maintain an organized yard.

This role involves outdoor work in all weather, loading and unloading orders, cycle counting, and assisting in shop operations as needed. A pre-employment drug screen and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Background in warehouse operations (shipping, receiving, delivery, inventory).
• Basic knowledge of carbon steel pipe and fittings.
• Forklift operator experience required.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Strong organizational and mechanical skills; basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy motorized material handling equipment safely.
• Accurately pick products ordered.
• Coordinate removal/replacement of worn components.
• Accurately cycle count, inspect orders, and unload trucks with forklift.
• Organize and reconfigure the yard; receive items into the system.
• Assist in all shop and pipe yard operations as needed.
