Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. in Charleston, SC is seeking an Outside Warehouse Pipe Yard Associate to join our warehouse team. The role involves operating heavy equipment, pulling orders, stocking materials, and ensuring accurate inventory control in a weather-exposed environment.

Starting rate is $20 per hour, with potential increases based on experience. This onsite position supports flexible duties, safety compliance, and team collaboration within a dynamic, customer-focused supply chain.

Qualifications

• Background in warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, delivery and inventory preferred.
• Forklift Operator experience is strongly preferred.
• General computer skills for basic data entry.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy motorized material handling equipment safely.
• Accurately pull and prepare orders for shipment.
• Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material.
• Coordinate removal and replacement of worn components.
• Put items away and receive them in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Ferguson is currently seeking an Outside Warehouse Pipe Yard Associate to join our warehouse team!

Position Details

Onsite Location: Charleston, SC

Schedule: Monday - Friday hours between 7AM - 5PM

Starting Rate: $20/ hr, can increase based on experience

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy motorize material handling equipment in a safe manner
• Accurately pull and prepare orders for shipment
• Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material
• Coordinate the removal and replacement of worn components
• Effectively put items away and receive them in WMS (Warehouse Management System)

Qualifications

• A background in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is preferred
• Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn it
• General computer skills for basic data entry
• Forklift Operator experience is strongly preferred
• Ability to work outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions and temperatures
• Ability to carry objects that are up to 50 lbs by hand and 50 lbs or more by using equipment
• Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices
• Attention to detail, demonstrated integrity and professionalism

• Pay Range: - $15.00 - $21.68 - Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
• This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
