Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Pipe Yard Associate for our Waterworks location. You will safely operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts to pull and prepare outbound orders, and you will build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and large piping in an outdoor pipe yard.

You will work year-round in all weather conditions, receive and stock material, ensure accurate inventory, and follow safety regulations and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• Background in warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, and inventory preferred.
• Fast-paced, changing environment.
• Basic data entry skills.
• Forklift Operator experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to carry objects up to 50 lbs by hand and 50 lbs or more using equipment.
• Pre-employment drug and background screening required.

Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up forklift (order selector/cherry picker) and sit-down forklift to pull and prepare outbound orders.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and large piping.
• Work outdoors year-round in a pipeyard, in all weather conditions.
• Receive, verify, stage and stock incoming material accurately and timely.
• Receive and store inventory.
• Adhere to all safety regulations, including proper PPE usage.

Ferguson is seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Warehouse Pipe Yard Associate at our Waterworks location in (city), (state). This role will involve working in a warehouse as well as outside in the pipe yard. Most of the product you will be working with is outside and requires working outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions and temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate both a stand-up forklift (order selector/cherry picker) and sit-down forklift to pull and prepare outbound customer orders.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and large piping.
• Work outdoors year-round in a pipeyard, performing duties in all weather conditions.
• Accurately and timely receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material.
• Effectively receive and store inventory.
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Schedule

Schedule: 7am - 4pm + OT as needed

Qualifications

• A background in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is preferred.
• Comfortable in a fast paced, changing environment.
• General computer skills for basic data entry.
• Forklift Operator experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to carry objects that are up to 50 lbs. by hand and 50 lbs. or more using equipment.

• Pay Range: - $17.41 - $26.11 - Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles. - This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible. - Ferguson complies with all wage regulations. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
