Job summary

Ferguson is seeking an Outside Warehouse Pipe Yard Associate to join our Charleston, SC warehouse team. This role focuses on pulling, packing and preparing pipe materials for shipment, operating warehouse equipment, and ensuring accurate stock in the WMS.

Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM, with starting pay of $20 per hour and potential increases based on experience. This is a full-time position requiring outdoor work in varying weather and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Background in warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory
• Product knowledge or ability to learn quickly
• General computer skills for data entry
• Forklift experience preferred
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions

Ferguson is currently seeking an Outside Warehouse Pipe Yard Associate to join our warehouse team!

Position Details

• Onsite Location: Charleston, SC
• Schedule: Monday – Friday hours between 7AM - 5PM
• Starting Rate: $20/ hr, can increase based on experience

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy motorize material handling equipment in a safe manner
• Accurately pull and prepare orders for shipment
• Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material
• Coordinate the removal and replacement of worn components
• Effectively put items away and receive them in WMS (Warehouse Management System)

Qualifications

• A background in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is preferred
• Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn it
• General computer skills for basic data entry
• Forklift Operator experience is strongly preferred
• Ability to work outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions and temperatures
• Ability to carry objects that are up to 50 lbs by hand and 50 lbs or more by using equipment
• Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices.
• Attention to detail, demonstrated integrity and professionalism

Pay Range: $15.00 - $21.68

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
