Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum four years' experience as a certified welder, or two years as Certified Welder plus two years' ABC training.
• Experience in stick and TIG pipe welding.
• Experience welding carbon, stainless steel and various alloys.
• Must pass required welding test for the specific job site.

Responsibilities

• Read layouts, blueprints, diagrams, work orders and welding procedures to determine work.
• Plan work sequence and determine tools/equipment needed.
• Lay out, position, align and fit components together.
• Perform welding with SMAW, TIG, and flux core processes.
• Prepare and clean weld joints; verify bead size and fusion as required.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and inspect welds visually.
