Job summary

PALA Interstate, LLC is seeking an experienced welder to perform stick and TIG welding on carbon and stainless piping across multiple positions in an industrial setting. The role requires reading specifications, blueprints, and plans, with the ability to work from elevated platforms and maintain a clean, safe work area.

Qualified candidates have at least four years as a certified welder or two years as a certified welder plus ABC or equivalent training, with proficiency in stick and TIG welding

Qualifications

• Certified Welder with strong stick and TIG pipe welding experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans and welding procedures.
• Experience in welding carbon and stainless piping in industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Read layouts, blueprints and orders to determine welding work.
• Plan tools and equipment, position and fit components.
• Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions.
• Operate SMAW, TIG and Flux Core welding processes.
• Maintain weld quality and perform post-weld cleanup.
