Thompson Construction Group, Inc. is seeking skilled welders to lay out, fit, and weld fabricated components in a fast-paced environment. You will read blueprints, prepare joints, and weld using TIG or stick processes across stainless and carbon materials.

Safety, accuracy, and teamwork are essential as you work on various projects with potential overtime. Candidates must pass weld tests, wear protective gear, and demonstrate physical endurance to lift 50 pounds while operating in demanding

Qualifications

• Must be able to TIG and stick weld on stainless and/or carbon.
• Must pass required weld tests (varies per site).
• Must wear safety gear and communicate clearly in English.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work in hot/cold environments.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly.
• Weld together metal components per layout, blueprints, or instructions using welding processes.
• Examine welds for bead size and specifications.
• May prepare broken parts for welding and clean joints as required.
