Craft & Technical Solutions in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Pipe Welder with extensive shipbuilding experience. The role requires reading blueprints and customer drawings, and performing TIG welding on carbon 309 stainless steel with copper-nickel alloys. Safety with heights and confined spaces is essential.

Candidate must have 8+ years of naval/commercial welding experience, reliable transportation, and ability to pass hair follicle tests and background checks. US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of naval/commercial welding experience.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Familiar with OSHA regulations relative to the shipbuilding industry.
• Pass hair follicle test and background check.
• Comfortable with heights and in confined spaces.
• Lift 50lbs without assistance.
• Must understand the layout of the ship and compartment identification.
• Basic reading, writing and math skills required.
• Must be a US citizen.
