Viking Fabrication Services LLC is seeking a Welder to join our on-site fabrication team. The role involves welding outlets onto pipe using automated and manual methods, inspecting weld quality, and ensuring adherence to safety and production standards.

The successful candidate will read work orders and drawings, perform rewelds when necessary, and maintain a clean, organized work area while meeting daily productivity goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous welding experience in manufacturing or fabrication.
• Ability to complete company welding certification requirements.
• Able to read work orders and basic fabrication drawings.
• Strong math skills for measuring and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated welding and plasma equipment to weld outlets onto pipe per specifications.
• Perform manual rewelds using hand-held equipment as needed to meet quality standards.
• Load, position, and unload pipe with proper material handling techniques.
• Inspect welded assemblies for quality and compliance with standards.
• Apply certification stamps to welds using designated tools.
• Transfer finished pipe to carts or staging areas for downstream processing.
