Job summary

Viking Fabrication Services LLC in Denver, CO is seeking a Welder to join our fast-paced fabrication shop, producing welded pipe assemblies and ensuring quality.

You will operate MIG/plasma equipment, perform rewelds as needed, read work orders and drawings, and maintain safety and housekeeping standards to support on-time production.

Preferred candidates have MIG welding experience, basic math skills, and the ability to read tape measures, with a commitment to quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Welding certification is required or must be completed.
• Experience with MIG/plasma welding preferred.
• Ability to read tape measures and follow work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated welding and plasma equipment to weld outlets onto pipe.
• Perform manual rewelds as needed to meet quality standards.
• Load, position, and unload pipe using proper material handling techniques.
• Inspect welded assemblies for quality and compliance.
• Transfer finished pipe to carts and staging areas for processing or shipment.
• Read work orders and fabrication drawings to complete tasks accurately.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe; perform routine equipment checks.
