The role operates welding and fabrication equipment to weld outlets to pipe, performs rewelds as needed, and ensures finished products meet standards. You will read work orders and drawings, measure materials with tape measures, and maintain a safe, organized workspace while supporting training and SOP adherence to meet production schedules and quality

Qualifications

• Experience welding outlets to pipe in a fabrication environment.
• Ability to read basic fabrication drawings and work orders.
• Commitment to safety and keeping a clean, organized work area.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated welding and plasma equipment to weld outlets onto pipe.
• Perform manual rewelds using handheld welding equipment as required.
• Load, position, and unload pipe from welding equipment using proper material handling techniques.
• Inspect welded assemblies for quality and compliance with standards.
• Apply required certification stamps to completed welds.
• Transfer finished pipe to carts and staging areas for downstream processing or shipment.
• Read work orders, production documents, and basic fabrication drawings to complete tasks accurately.
• Measure materials using tape measures to verify dimensions.
