Job summary

Qualifications

• Code Welding Experience (ASME Sec. 8/9, B31.3, AWS D1.1, AWS D17.1)
• Mechanical aptitude and manufacturing environment familiarity
• Ownership attitude and safety culture
• Willingness to learn and teach new processes or methods
• Ability to read designs, blueprints, and perform basic math

Responsibilities

• Weld Non-Code and Code articles to satisfactory quality
• Weld with GMAW, FCAW, SMAW per WPS
• Receive 6G Certification prior to hire date
• Lead and implement new procedures (PQRs/WPSs)
• Plan work orders, assemble tools and materials
• Repair and fabricate items using cutting, burning, welding
• Monitor welding to prevent warping or damage
• Mentor teammates and work safely in a team setting
