Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to TIG and stick weld on stainless and/or carbon.
• Must pass required weld tests (varies per site).
• Must read, write and communicate clearly with supervisor and understand directions.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, position, align, and secure parts before welding.
• Weld together metal components per procedures and blueprints.
• Examine welds for bead size and conformance to specs.
• Operates welding equipment and adjusts amperage/voltage as required.
• Maintain safety and follow project rules.
