Qualified candidates have 3–5 years of welding experience, high school diploma or GED, OSHA 10 and AWS certifications preferred, and must bring a toolbox and needed tools. Pre‑hire requirements apply, with safety top priority.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years proven experience.
• OSHA 10 preferred, AWS certified preferred.
• High School Diploma / GED.
• Must have locking tool box and tools necessary to perform the job.
• Must be able to successfully complete all required pre-hire requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, weld together metal components of products such as piping systems, plates, pipes, and tube or structural shapes, as specified by layout, blueprints, diagram, work order, welding procedures, or oral instructions, using electric arc-welding equipment.
• Plan installation or repair to avoid obstructions and avoid interfering with the activities of other workers.
• Secure pipes to structure with bracket, clamps, and hangers, using hand tools and power tools.
• Weld in any direction – flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions.
