Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to mobilize and manage field operations on a Harriman, TN project. The role requires coordinating with union teams and major subcontractors to meet safety, quality, and schedule targets on site.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years as a superintendent or construction manager on large projects, with a Construction Management or Engineering degree and OSHA 10 certification.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Construction Manager on equivalent projects.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• Strong knowledge of union agreements and jurisdictional issues.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Construction Manager in ensuring adherence to safety, quality, ethics, lessons learned and performance management programs.
• Monitor CPM schedule, track progress, and report on project schedule activities.
• Resolve issues with drawings, information, schedule, quality, quantity tracking, cost reporting and safety.
• Supervise direct hire and subcontractor staff; coordinate with field foremen and subcontractors to meet schedule and budget.
• Maintain daily site logs and review timesheets, quantities, and progress payments.
• Mentor and train discipline superintendents; coordinate training needs as required.
