Black & Veatch Construction, Inc. (BVCI) seeks an Electrical Superintendent for Subcontract Oversight on a Harriman, TN site. The role mobilizes to the project for the duration and requires strong union relations and supervision of both direct hires and subcontractors.

Previous electrical superintendent experience on power construction is preferred. The candidate will ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence, coordinate with craft supervisors, and mentor other superintendents as needed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience as a Superintendent or Construction Manager on equivalent projects.
• OSHA 10 certification.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Construction Manager in ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and performance standards.
• Monitors schedule progress and reports on craft productivity and subcontractor performance.
• Interfaces with direct hire supervision, major subcontractors, and field engineering to meet project requirements.
• Ensures compliance with local union agreements and labor relations for project execution.
• Leads foreman/subcontractor meetings and develops 3 Week Look Ahead schedules.
