Job summary

Hargrove is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to perform complete designs for projects of varying scope. You will develop layouts, calculations, and drawings, working under supervision and coordinating with other disciplines to ensure timely completion.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and 3+ years of relevant industrial experience, with PE registration strongly preferred. Proficiency in MS Word/Excel/Outlook and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
• Professional Engineering registration preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant industrial mechanical engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete designs of mechanical engineering assignments under supervision.
• Develop conceptual layouts and cost studies for projects.
• Produce design calculations and sketches for construction.
• Review vendor drawings and discipline drawings for mechanical input.
• Provide field data gathering and construction support.
• Coordinate with design leaders to ensure timely project completion.
