Ptc Alliance in Liberty, TX is seeking a pipe straightener/operator to maintain straightness and size tolerance of pipe. Responsibilities include operating the bending machine, adjusting controls, and reading work orders.

The candidate should have 2–3 years in an industrial environment, High School diploma, and basic math/measurement skills. Forklift and crane certifications are noted in the qualifications. The role is full-time and on-site.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years in an industrial environment.
• Read and comprehend short instructions and memos.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
• Strong arithmetic skills including fractions and decimals.
• Ability to interpret charts/graphs and basic geometry.
• Apply common sense to follow written or verbal instructions.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate machine that bends metal structural pipe to a predetermined straightener specification.
• Make adjustments via control system.
• Monitor conformance to engineering parameters.
• Set up for various diameters of pipe.
• Use tape measure and micrometers.
• Read work orders.
• Be mechanically inclined.
• Work in a fast paced environment.
• Maintain a clean work station.
• Prioritize safety.
• Other duties as assigned.
