Job summary

Apparent Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Bend Technician to join our Austin, TX team. You will set up, program, and operate CNC and manual tube bending equipment to manufacture precision stainless steel tubing for ultra-high-purity semiconductor applications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience with CNC and/or manual tube bending in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; technical training a plus.
• Experience with 316L stainless steel tubing and UHP systems is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate CNC tube bending equipment per engineering specs.
• Perform manual tube bending using appropriate tooling and fixtures.
• Measure and bend 316L stainless steel tubing from 1/4" to 1" OD while maintaining tolerances.
• Configure tooling based on tubing size, material, bend radius, and job requirements.
• Calculate bend allowances and data to produce accurate components.
• Conduct test bends and adjust machines as needed.
