Job summary

Stulz in Denton, TX is seeking a skilled pipefitter/assembler to cut, bend, and install metal and nonmetal piping per blueprints and BOMs. You will read layout drawings, use hydraulic and manual pipe benders, and operate torch sets while following PPE requirements.

The role involves reading English instructions, standing for long periods, and training in multiple positions such as assembly and welding. High school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/8th inch.
• Ability to follow verbal, written, and pictorial instructions.
• Ability to use hand tools.
• Cuts, threads and bends pipe with hydraulic and manual benders.
• Assembles and installs metal and nonmetal pipes and fittings.
• Able to use acetylene and oxygen torch set.
• Read and interpret layout drawings and piping diagrams.
• Use of PPE (glasses, gloves, sleeves).
• Train in multiple manufacturing positions (Assembly, Wire, Weld).

Responsibilities

• Cut, thread and bend pipe with hydraulic and manual benders.
• Assemble and install metal and nonmetal pipes, tubes and fittings (iron, steel, copper, plastic).
• Read layouts, BOMs and piping diagrams.
• Use acetylene/oxygen torch set safely.
• Work with PPE and safe practices.
• Cross-train in multiple manufacturing positions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
