Job summary

Fred Smith Company is seeking a Pipelayer in Raleigh, NC to lay gravity systems and support trenching operations. You will set grades, operate a pipe laser, and cut and install pipe while coordinating with laborers.

Requirements include 1 year as a Pipelayer and the ability to operate pipe saws, loaders, rammax, and hand tools. Safety is emphasized with full PPE and training provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pipelayer.
• Ability to operate pipe saw, shovel and hand tools is required, along with ability to learn to operate loader and rammax.
• Set up pipe laser, calculate grades, and lay gravity systems to grade.
• Position requires accuracy, alertness, communication skills, problem solving skills and arithmetic.
