The role involves coordinating crews with supervision, inspecting progress, maintaining records, and ensuring safety and quality, with strong communication and teamwork as essential requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with experience in field supervision.
• Ability to supervise craft workers and communicate clearly.
• Plan tasks safely, train on safety practices and procedures.
• Knowledge of scheduling, material control and job cost management.
• Effective written and oral communication with crew and management.
• Strong motivation and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Superintendent and Project Management to organize crew, materials, and equipment.
• Examine and inspect work progress, equipment and sites to verify safety and specifications.
• Maintain accurate reporting records including quantities, productivity, timesheets and reports.
• Assist in developing a weekly schedule and sequence activities for the crew.
• Ensure timely completion within estimated costs while upholding quality.
• Ensure safety of crew and conduct operations per safety rules.
• Lead toolbox meetings and communicate safety concerns and plans.
• Monitor compliance with company policies.
• Adjust plans and schedules to optimize workflow.
• Prioritize workload within defined budget.
