Job summary

C.A. Murren is seeking an experienced Pipe Foreman for underground wet utilities (water, sewer, storm drain) on heavy civil site development projects across the southeastern United States.

This hands-on leader will supervise field crews, read plans, set grades, and keep work moving safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate has 5+ years as a Foreman in underground utilities, strong trench safety knowledge, and proven ability to plan daily operations, coordinate resources, and report progress to

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Foreman in heavy civil underground utilities.
• Experience installing water, sewer, and storm drain systems.
• Strong knowledge of trench safety and OSHA standards.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and planning daily work.

Responsibilities

• Lead field crews and promote safety culture.
• Supervise pipe crews for water, sewer, and storm drain installation.
• Read blueprints and interpret project specs.
• Plan daily activities and coordinate resources.
• Monitor productivity, quality, and schedule.
• Submit daily reports and timecards.
• Communicate status to Project Managers.
• Train crew members and foster advancement.
