Job summary

White's Site Development is seeking a Pipe Foreman to supervise an underground utility crew on active job sites. You will lead storm drain, sewer, and water main installations, reading blueprints and coordinating deliveries, equipment, and manpower to keep production on schedule.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in underground utilities and 2+ years leading crews, with strong leadership, safety, and communication skills for outdoor work in varied conditions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of underground utilities installation experience (storm, sewer, water).
• 2+ years in foreman or crew lead roles preferred.
• Ability to read civil plans and pipe cut sheets.
• Understanding of pipe laser setup, trench safety, and installation methods.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work outdoors in varied conditions and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a crew installing storm drain, sanitary sewer, and water main systems.
• Ensure work complies with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, cut sheets, and utility plans.
• Coordinate material deliveries, equipment, and manpower to maintain production schedules.
• Set up grade lasers, check elevations, and confirm line and grade accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, inspectors, and other field personnel.
• Train and mentor crew members to promote safety, efficiency, and teamwork.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, time sheets, and equipment logs.
• Enforce company safety policies and participate in daily safety meetings.
