Job summary

Environmental Air Systems is seeking an experienced Pipe Foreman to join our construction department in High Point, NC. The role includes leading a team of pipefitters, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in pipefitting, with strong leadership skills and the ability to manage daily work activities. EAS offers a range of benefits including weekly pay and various insurances.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a pipefitter, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
  • Relevant certifications in pipefitting and safety (e.g., OSHA) are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of pipefitters, ensuring work is performed according to project specifications.
  • Plan and coordinate daily work activities and resource allocation.
  • Enforce adherence to safety regulations and conduct regular safety meetings.
  • Inspect work for quality and compliance with industry standards.
  • Identify and resolve issues or conflicts during the project.
  • Maintain clear communication with project managers and team members.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of work performed.
  • Mentor and train team members in best practices.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise a team of pipefitters, ensuring work is performed according to project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
  • Plan and coordinate daily work activities, including resource allocation, task assignments, and progress monitoring to ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations and procedures, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Inspect work for quality and compliance with industry standards and project specifications, making necessary adjustments and corrections as needed.
  • Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the course of the project, providing practical solutions to maintain project timelines.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with project managers, engineers, other foremen, and team members to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of work performed, including daily logs, progress reports, and material usage.
  • Mentor and train team members, promoting skill development and adherence to best practices within the pipefitting trade.
Education Requirements/Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a pipefitter, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an apprenticeship program or vocational training in pipefitting preferred.
