Job summary

Environmental Air Systems, LLC is seeking a Pipe Foreman to lead a team of pipefitters in our construction department. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and schedule adherence, with opportunities to mentor juniors and coordinate daily field activities.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, blueprints literacy, and extensive pipefitting experience, including supervisory responsibilities, with a background in safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a pipefitter, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an apprenticeship program or vocational training in pipefitting preferred.
• Relevant certifications in pipefitting and safety (e.g., OSHA) are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of pipefitters, ensuring work meets project specs, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Plan and coordinate daily work activities, including resource allocation, task assignments, and progress monitoring to meet milestones.
• Enforce safety regulations and conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to maintain a safe environment.
• Inspect work for quality and compliance with industry standards and project specs; adjust as needed.
• Identify and resolve issues or conflicts to maintain project timelines.
• Maintain clear communication with project managers, engineers, other foremen, and team members for smooth execution.
• Prepare and maintain records of work performed, including daily logs, progress reports, and material usage.
• Mentor and train team members, promoting skill development and adherence to best practices.
