Job summary

MSS Solutions, LLC is seeking a Piping Foreman - Mechanical to supervise piping layout, assembly, and installation on projects in Winston-Salem, NC. You will direct crews, read blueprints, and coordinate scheduling of resources to ensure safe, timely completion.

The role requires ability to work with various tools and equipment, maintain quality, and support project leadership to meet timelines and budget goals.

Qualifications

Piping Foreman - Mechanical

Roles and Responsibilities

• Supervise the layout, assembly, and installation of various sizes and types of piping.
• Direct others on work activities and organize scheduling of resources.
• Read blueprints and equipment packaging lists for assembly.
• Solve simple job-related problems and bring solutions to the superintendent or project manager.
• Ability to work with a variety of tools, large machines, and specialty equipment.
• Support the Superintendent and Project Manager to complete the project in a timely manner.
• Provide the best quality and productive work without contact reminder.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Company from time to time.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Physical Demands: Occasional sitting, frequent stooping, crouching, kneeling, balancing, and climbing. Constant standing, walking, reaching, and gripping. Vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to talk and hear. Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. (maximum solo lift) and constant lifting to 25 lbs., placing this position in the very heavy physical demand classification (PDC).
• Material Handling: Lifting from floor level to overhead, with occasional lifting up to 115 lbs., frequent lifting up to 50 lbs. and constant lifting up to 25 lbs., placing the position in the very heavy physical demand classification (PDC).
• Required Education: High School Graduate or equivalent, work experience.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
• Must successfully pass a background check & drug test.

Work Environment

Exposure to weather, extreme heat or cold, high noise intensity level, atmospheric conditions, exposure to electrical shock, exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals, wet and/or humid, vibration, proximity to moving mechanical parts, working at high exposure places.
