Job description

Total Safety is seeking Boilermakers (NCCER preferred) with experience in Deluge Systems, Bolt Up, and Screw Pipe to provide maintenance services, install pipe, fittings, valves, and piping systems, and perform repairs and inspections of boiler components. The role involves working on towers and exchangers in industrial plants to ensure operational integrity.

Essential Duties:

• Maintain job site documentation such as time sheets and drawings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and perform pipe fitting.
• Work in challenging positions, including climbing ladders, scaffolding, and working at heights up to forty feet.
• Work shifts, including weekends, and travel as needed.
• Tighten and loosen bolts on flange connections and manways per ISO drawings.
• Assist with installation/removal of blinds for pressure testing.
• Handle pipefittings, bolts, valves, and assemble piping systems.
• Use impact wrenches, combination wrenches, and line-up pins for installation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years' boilermaker experience in fire protection, petrochemical, or oil refinery industries preferred.
• Ability to lift and move equipment/tools up to forty pounds.
• Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass background and drug screening, including UA, hair follicle, and breathalyzer tests.

Working Environment:

Industrial or shop settings with exposure to wet, humid, outdoor weather, vibration, high pressure, chemicals, gas releases, or fire. Noise levels are generally moderate.

Educational Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• NCCER certification in Pipefitting/Boilermaking (preferred).
• Current TWIC card.
