Plasser American Corp is seeking a skilled tradesperson to support the assembly and installation of hydraulic and pneumatic piping on railway equipment. The role focuses on measuring, cutting, fabricating, and installing piping in alignment with technical drawings.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or relevant technical training, basic pipe-fitting knowledge, and the ability to read schematics and blueprints. A strong teamwork mindset is essential, with on-site training provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, two-year college/technical training, or 2+ years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, fabricate and install hydraulic and pneumatic pipe.
• Install piping and hardware using hand and power tools.
• Review blueprints to understand requirements.
• Assist in layout and installation of hardware per specs.
• Follow diagrams/blueprints to ensure hose connections are proper.
• Repair malfunctions.
